Join us for an evening celebrating the joy of fashion within the climate change crisis. More than a fashion show, this is a chance to engage with fellow Chicagoans who are creative and community-minded, to look at actionable climate change solutions through the lens of avant-garde, maximalist, and colorful clothing.
We will screen a short film about the incredible waste created by the fast fashion industry, and then see how multiple Chicago designers are working with secondhand textiles to create new garments. Afterwards, grab a drink, a bite, and engage with the interactive installations to look at our relationship to climate change and to each other.
Be a VIP! Sneak in at 6:00 to catch complimentary signature cocktails, appetizers, interactive installations, and for a chance to get to know the artists behind the clothing! Each VIP gets a front seat on the runway (next to Anna Wintour, if you’re lucky) and a gift bag with promotions from local businesses.
