Ramova is located at 3520 S Halsted St, Chicago, IL 60609. Six blocks West of Guaranteed Rate Field. 

There are several transit options to arrive at Ramova. Those who wish to use public transportation can take the #8 Halsted bus, #35 31st/35th street bus, or the Red Line (closest stop Sox-35th Street). CTA bus and train schedules can be viewed here.

Metered street parking is available on Halsted Street and 35th Street

This includes, but is not limited to: deliberate intimidation; stalking; unwanted photography or recording; sustained or willful disruption of events; inappropriate or unwelcome physical contact; use of unwelcome sexual or discriminatory imagery, comments, or jokes; unwelcome sexual attention; demeaning, discriminatory, harmful or harassing behavior and speech; over intoxication; providing or offering intoxicants, legal or illegal, in a coercive manner, or causing someone to become intoxicated without their consent.

If you experience or witness inappropriate behavior of any kind, please alert a Ramova Team Member..

Ramova staff and Community Support will do everything in our power to help keep you safe. 

If any person engages in behavior contrary to our Code of Conduct, we may take any lawful action we deem appropriate, including but not limited to warning the offender, asking the offender to leave our premises, physically removing the offender, or contacting local law enforcement. The Ramova Team has authority to refuse service to any guests exhibiting unsafe, disorderly or drunken behavior.

Ramova Theatre, Taproom, and Grill is an accessible property.  

 

Ramova is a General Admission/Standing Room Only venue, unless otherwise specified. Guests who require special accommodations for ADA accessible seating or other assistance should purchase General Admission tickets first and then contact us directly at box@ramovachicago..com to make accommodation arrangements.

**If you have tickets to an upcoming event and need special accommodations or other assistance, please contact box@ramovachicago.com at least two weeks prior to the event so we can make appropriate arrangements and offer the best possible assistance**

Photo Policy: Flash photography, video, or audio recording devices are not permitted during Ramova Theatre shows. 

 

Professional cameras (ie: cameras with a detachable lens) are NOT permitted unless a photo pass has been issued by the artist team or Ramova Theatre staff in advance. Ramova reserves the right to revoke these credentials at any time if guests violate our photo policy. 

 

Small digital cameras are allowed. 

Bags: Bags up to 12”x6”x12” are allowed in the venue

All patrons are required to pass through magnetometers before entry to the theatre. All personal bags are subject to search.

We have ample water stations positioned throughout the property. Outside food, beverage, and water bottles/vessels are prohibited.

Per the City of Chicago guidelines, guests are not required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or wear a mask in order to attend an event. Masking is encouraged. 

Masks and sanitizer are available at the theatre and tap room entrances.  

Alcohol is available for purchase for anyone 21 & over. In order to drink alcohol at Ramova, you must show a current valid federal/state ID (driver’s license, state ID, passport, etc.) as proof of age, and be wearing a wristband provided by Ramova Theatre staff. Patrons drinking without wristbands will be asked to leave. There are a variety of non-alcoholic beverages to purchase on site as well.

The Chicago Clean Indoor Air Ordinance was passed by the Chicago City Council in December 2005. The ordinance, Municipal Code 7-32, prohibits smoking of any kind in public facilities. Due to the ordinance, tobacco and cannabis smoking is prohibited inside and within 15 feet of all entrances of Ramova Theatre. Ramova does not allow re-entry. On a per event basis, there is a beer garden attached to the theatre lobby that may be utilized for smoking when open. Our staff can answer questions regarding this policy and whether it is in effect at night of.

We have four multi-occupancy gender-neutral restrooms in the venue, two with stalls and urinals, and two with stalls only.  There is directional signage that can help lead you to facilities on each level. There is one family bathroom and one gender-neutral bathroom with stalls for the taproom and grill.

The following items are prohibited on Ramova property

  • Weapons of any kind, including but not limited to:
  • Firearms (with or without a permit)
  • Pocket Knives, multi-tools, or knives of any size
  • Pepper Spray or Mace
  • Flares or Fireworks
  • Oversized bags (Bag larger than 12”x6”12”, including all backpacks, briefcases, luggage, or duffle bags)
  • Illegal Substances
  • Outside Food and Beverage
  • Laser Pointers/ flashlights greater than 3″
  • Professional or flash photography, tripods, monopods, selfie-sticks
  • Audio or Video recording devices
  • Signs larger than 11” x 17” or any sign attached to a stick or pole
  • Skateboards, hoverboards, rollerblades, scooters, hula hoops or bicycles
  • Balloons, permanent markers, spray paint, silly string
  • Noise Making devices (e.g. air horns, drums, whistles)
  • Large or pointed umbrellas

BOX OFFICE & TICKETING

Ramova’s Box Office is located at 3520 S. Halsted (main theatre entrance) and opens one hour before doors on show nights. We are closed Monday and Tuesday unless there is a show inside the theatre. 

Tickets for all future Ramova Theatre shows are available for purchase by cash and card while the box office is open. We also have a self-service ticketing kiosk inside the taproom patrons are welcome to use for upcoming shows! 

 TICKET DISCLAIMER: We strongly advise you to purchase tickets via ramovachicago.com and our ticketing platform, Etix.com, only. We do not advise purchasing tickets from resellers, scalpers, or social sites (i.e. StubHub, Craigslist, private individuals, etc). These tickets are often overpriced and can be counterfeit, or duplicate tickets, that will not gain you entry to the show.

We do not issue refunds or offer ticket exchanges. All sales are final. We are unable to offer refunds for unused tickets or for guests who are denied entry due to an invalid ID. Event time and lineup are subject to change. In the case of an event cancellation, refunds will be provided via the point of purchase. Resale of any ticket at a price greater than the original ticket price is prohibited. We reserve the right to revoke or reclaim possession of any tickets from the buyer who violates such restrictions.

ID INFORMATION FOR RAMOVA THEATRE SHOWS

Ramova hosts events that are All Ages, 18+ or 21+. This information is clearly notated on every event listing within our calendar.   

18+ and 21+ Event ID Requirements 

To enter the Ramova complex for an 18+ or 21+ event; you must show one valid form of federal or state ID (driver’s license, state ID, passport, etc.) as proof of age. Our policy is to request ID from any customer who appears to be under the legal age. We have the right to, and will, refuse entry to any customer who cannot produce a valid, adequate ID. We also reserve the right to ask for a second form of ID if the first form is unacceptable or unclear.

• A valid, current driver’s license issued by the Illinois Secretary of State Office or any other state.
• A valid photo identification card issued by the Illinois Secretary of State Office or any other state.
• Armed Forces Identification
• A valid U.S. Passport or travel visa/passport issued by a foreign country containing the holder’s photograph.

To enter Ramova for an All Ages event; teens under 18 are welcome, and no ID is required. We recommend parents weigh the maturity level and personality of their individual child when deciding on the right age for their child to be allowed to attend concerts. Ramova observes city-wide all ages curfew limits. 

If the show is 18+ and a person under the age of 18 wishes to attend; they will need to bring a parent/legal guardian with them. The parent/legal guardian must purchase their own ticket, must remain within a few feet of the underage person throughout the entire event, and must agree to take full responsibility for the underage person while on the premises. Please note that this is applicable to parents and legal guardians only––other friends or relatives may not substitute. We reserve the right to ask for proof of a parental/legal guardianship relationship.

Patrons under the age of 21 may not consume alcohol under any circumstances, and any minor who is caught consuming alcohol, or anyone providing alcohol to a minor will be asked to leave.

Our Taproom and Grill accept card + cash payments. 

Ramova Theatre concessions accept cards only, no cash.

There’s an ATM *in sight* across the street at Chase Bank!

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Our Taproom & Grill offers a variety of diner-style classics. Please note that food may not be brought into the theatre (unless otherwise noted), so we recommend that you join us for dinner an hour or so before you plan on heading into the show. You can also stay and grab a bite to eat after the show!

We have 3 full bars located within the theatre and one large bar in the taproom offering a diverse selection of Other Half draft beers and Ramova house cocktails along with your favorite spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.

NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR  DRINKS ARE ALLOWED.

Our beers are not kosher. Most of them are vegan, but we will list lactose and other allergens on the side of the can.
