Blue Sunday at The Ramova Loft

Music and Conversations with Blues Legends and

Young Lions hosted by Matthew Skoller and Chicago Wind.

Stephen Hull is at the forefront of a new generation of Blues artists who are forging new pathways in Blues music while paying deep homage to their ancestors.

Born in 1999 in Racine, WI Stephen started playing Blues at age 14 and never stopped. Profoundly influenced by both Albert and BB King, he began developing his personal, sweet and soulful guitar sound. As a vocalist Stephen goes from velvet-smooth melodic expression to powerful and gritty hollers all while maintaining beautiful pitch and tonality. Combined with his infectiously buoyant personality and broad emotional range, Stephen is taking the Blues world by storm.

In just a few short years he has become a big draw in the Blues clubs of Chicago and venues across his home state of Wisconsin. Now on the radar of national and international Blues venues, Stephen has played all over the United States, Western Europe, South America and was enlisted by the State Department to do a goodwill tour of Western Africa playing and teaching master classes in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. From the main stage of the Chicago Blues festival to Jazz à Ouaga The Stephen Hull Experience is making headlines. Appearing in the most respected Blues periodicals such as Living Blues (U.S.),Blues & Rhythm: The Gospel Truth (UK) among many others, Stephen has taken his place as one of the most sought after Bluesmen of his generation.
