Bridgeport Records is a collaboration between Deep House producer/DJ Vick Lavender and former labor leader Jerry Morrison.
The store’s eclectic vinyl collection has been curated by Lavender and represents the varied musical influences on his life.
 
Lavender’s 30 year music career is synonymous with Deep House, but includes forays into R&B, Afro and Latin Beats, and Broken Beat.
Vick has entranced audiences around the world with his Deep House cuts having played the best clubs from Paris, France to Johannesburg, South Africa.
 
Working with such heavy hitters as Joe Claussel, Albert Sterling Menendez, Abicah Soul and Josh Milan, Lavender’s Sophisticado Recordings has become a major force in the House scene.
