Join us Saturday, September 14th for the first Home Brewer’s Ball at the historic Ramova Theatre in Bridgeport!

Brewers from CHAOS Brew Club will be providing samples of 15 different Belgian style small batch brews, with event attendees voting across the selection. Other Half Ramova and Marz Community Brewing will choose two beers from the crowd favorites and work with those homebrewers to scale up their beers to be served in their respective tap rooms.

During the event, CHAOS members will do what they do best by providing education about beer ingredients and brewing. Learn more about beer styles and brewing, brewing trends, and Chicago’s largest home brewing non-profit while drinking beers available for purchase from Other Half Ramova.

Ticketed entry to the event includes souvenir tasting glass + samples.

About Ramova Theatre

In 1929, the Ramova Theatre opened its doors in Chicago as Bridgeport’s premier movie palace. With an iconic sign and Spanish-inspired architecture, it became the jewel of the neighborhood, a place for people to gather and communities to come together.

Now, nearly a century later, the space has returned, reimagined as an 1,800 person live concert hall, 300 person loft event space,  independent craft brewery, beer garden and grill. Meticulously restored to preserve the architectural heart of the building, the Ramova once again lights up Halsted and 35th Street.

Beer industry veteran Todd Haug serves as Head Brewer for Ramova. Haug brings more than 30 years of brewing experience to Ramova. He most recently served as Director of Innovation for Pilot Project Brewing while previously serving as Director of Brewing Operations for Surly Brewing Co in addition to five years with Three Floyd’s Brewing as Director of Brewery Engineering. Try one of Todd’s latest house-brewed creations at Ramova, including the 1929 Lager, Lighted Dove, Hardscrabble, or Bubble Garten!

This event is 21+.
